The US State Department confirmed during a statement on Thursday (September 18th) that a Qatar Airways chartered plane had began from Kabul International Airport this morning.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken said during a statement that the us would continue its efforts to deal with the remaining americans et al. seeking to go away Afghanistan.
Mr Blankenship welcomed the Taliban’s move to supply today’s flight, saying it had been a part of the Taliban’s commitment to permit those with legal travel documents to go away Afghanistan.
He said the US team and special envoy to Doha, Zalmai Khalilzad, had been in regular contact with the Taliban in recent days which similar measures would be positively appreciated by the international community.
Mr Blankenship said the flight also included US citizens and other people with permanent residency.
State Department spokesman Ned Price said during a tweet that four of the six deportees on the flight from Kabul on Thursday were US citizens and three had permanent residency cards.

A total of eight foreigners, including American nationals, were on board the flight, which was evacuated on a Qatar Airways commercial flight.
Mr Blanken said during a statement that the lads had been removed as a results of close work with regional partners, particularly the Qatari authorities.
The US Secretary of State added that in his visit to Doha in the week , he met together with his US Secretary of State to debate the difficulty and therefore the Ministry’s commitment and constructive engagement during this regard. Is happy.
The Secretary of State added that they need been in regular contact with the remaining Americans in Afghanistan on a day to day , and have given them specific instructions.
Mr Blanken said the message to those remaining in Afghanistan was clear: “If you would like to go away Afghanistan, we’ll assist you .”
The us says it’s liberated quite 120,000 people from the west of Kabul since Assumption until Transfiguration .
About five million Americans remain within the country, consistent with U.S. officials.
