North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has said his country’s weapons development is necessary in the face of ‘hostile’ policies from the United States and a military buildup in South Korea that is destabilising the peninsula, state media reported.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has criticized the United States for insecurity in the region, saying” wrong and prejudiced US programs have created pressures in the region and leveled the Korean people against each other.”
“We aren’t talking about war with anyone, but we want to cover ourselves from war and increase the resolution of the war for our public sovereignty,”Kim Jong Un said.
Kim Jong Un added that the United States has constantly denied hostility to North Korea, but so far not a single step has been taken to prove that it isn’t an adversary of North Korea.
It should be noted that in 2017, after the successful test of three multinational ballistic dumdums, North Korea claimed that it has acquired the capability to attack the American soil with nuclear dumdums.
In five times, North Korea test- fired a bullet that could reach the American landmass and deliver the most advanced nuclear warhead.
Pyongyang says the munitions are demanded to defend itself against US aggression.
Judges say North Korea, as a nuclear power, wants to homogenize its relations.
The US government, led by Joe Biden, has constantly said it has no hostile intent against Pyongyang. But Kim says“Their geste gives us no reason why we should trust them.”
But Kim has claimed that North Korea’s munitions are for tone- defense and aren’t aimed at any particular country.
The North Korean leader’s reflections came after the country tested long- range voyage dumdums in recent weeks, which are briskly than sound and could carry nuclear warheads.
In 2006, Kim came the first North Korean leader to meet with also-US President Donald Trump in Singapore.
The leaders also met in Hanoi, Vietnam, a time after the first meeting, but the addresses have been delayed, largely because of what Pyongyang wants to do to ease warrants.
Biden’s government has said it wants to meet with North Korean officers at any time and place without preconditions aimed at nuclear demilitarization.
